1.6.2 Master cards.
All cards with card no. 0-4 are classified as Master cards for the system specified by the Company, Installer and
OEM number on the card. The main purpose of the Master card is to raise the security level.
The Master card is handed over to the responsible person for security, when the system is started up. It is
recommended that the Master card is stored in a secure place, and is only used in connection with the
installation or service. A Master card can not be deleted once it is released so it is recommended only to create
the absolute minimum number of Master cards necessary for each system.
The responsible person in charge of security can decide where and when, it is allowed to use Service cards in
the system.
The Master card is further an important aspect during the start - up of the system, and can regardless of the time
programs be used as a programming card with the highest priority. In THOR integrated systems it is necessary
to use the Master card for initialization. Other systems can be initialized without Master card.
