4.2.8 Block/unblock reader without alarm system integration.
It is possible for systems without alarm system integration to make some "first-in/last-out" cards by giving this
personnel group the Lock-function = Yes. By doing this the reader will be blocked using the closed padlock key
until the open padlock key is pressed by a card with a personnel group including Lock function.
A card belonging to a personnel group with Lock-function = NO cannot use the reader (open the door) during the
block-period and must wait until a person from a personnel group with Lock-function = YES is coming and
unblocks the reader.
4.2.9 Open door by using code only.
It is possible to define a week program so that the reader can be used to open the door without card but with
code only (6 digits). Maximum 100 codes can be defined.
The week program, which is defining this feature, is the local week program no. 34 for automatic door control.
The 100 codes correspond to 100 card nos., predefined as the card nos. 1000 to 1099. The card range can be
changed by adding one line in the AIMS.INI file. The access rights programmed to this range of cards (personnel
group etc.) are also valid for the codes.
Please note that the card nos. using the code-only
feature must be programmed in the week program for access rights with a function
"Access without code".
If not, the reader will ask for the PIN code twice.
