1.6.3 Service cards.
All cards with company no. 0 are classified as Service cards. A Service card can give access to all systems with
same OEM and installer number and there can for each installer no. be max. 65500 Service cards.
The Service card is a personal card and should only be given to authorized service personnel. Every time a
Service card is being used it will be logged in the reader alarm log. It is therefore possible to see when Service
has been made and by whom.
The Service cards can be blocked by the Master card at any time, to raise the security level.
The Service card is used during start - up of the system to initialize the reader with the OEM-, Installer- and
Company - number. Apart from that the service card gives access to certain functions in connection with
programming & test of the system depending on the authorization from the user (see the section 1.6.6
Programming Cards and card priority).
The PIN-code connected to the Service card is 1122(33) and cannot be changed.
The use of the Service card depends on the status and configuration of the complete system.
Stand-alone / multi-reader:
The Service card can open the door or get access to the service menus with low priority (see
1.6.6) in case of alarm from Soft type 36.
If service is allowed by the user the Service card has access to all menus.
Thor Intrusion integration:
Standard indoor reader

In case of alarm from the THOR intrusion system, the Service card is accepted and direct
access to the Intrusion menus is given by keying in the
Intrusion
Service or guard code. By
log-
out
the door will be opened to allow the Service man to enter the door.
The Service man can by pressing the
- key get access to the low-priority service menus (see
1.6.6) in alarm condition.
If service is allowed by the user the Service card has access to all menus.
External reader kit:
In case of alarm from the THOR intrusion system, the Service card is accepted on the outdoor
reader and will open the door.The service man can then on the inside terminal get direct access
to the Intrusion menus by keying in the
Intrusion
Service or guard code.
The Service man can by the
- key get access to the low-priority service menus (see 1.6.6) in
alarm condition.
If service is allowed by the user the Service card has access to all menus.
