It is recommended to have a separate 12V DC power supply to each Single/Double zone controller to avoid
power loss in the cables etc.
Please note that the 90T RKP ERC terminal must be set up for Wiegand interface. The terminal is set for
Wiegand from the factory.
The cards are active cards which include a battery inside the card. For this reason a display message has been
created in the software to indicate Card battery low (CARD BAT. LOW) . This message is indicated together with
the DOOR IS OPEN text, 2 - 3 months before the card stops to work. The normal life time of a card is 6 - 10
years.
When using hands-free systems several people have the possibility to pass the door at the same time. To be
sure that all cards are being registered, a buffer for up to 10 cards exists. This means that max. 10 cards on the
same door-opening can be registered as entering the door. This feature is also available using other card
technologies (magstripe/wiegand).

The cards are programmed in the Hi Sec format as described in the Technical manuals. A Service card and a
Master card must be used as when using the other card technologies.
