When RS-232C or GP-IB is used for control, settings can be made to specify
whether to accept the test start command ":STARt".
In addition, when this setting
is not set, output voltage during voltage supply cannot be changed.
9.5 Interface Command "START"
1.

Make sure the lamp is lit on the screen.
* will not be displayed during the Double Action setting.
2.
Press the STOP key while holding down the SHIFT key to display the
optional screen (page 1).

Press the key to move the flashing cursor to the interface command.
4.
Press the / keys to select.
Interface Command "START"
0: Start command invalid (Initial setting)
changing the voltage supplied using keys not possible
1: Start command valid
changing the voltage supplied using keys not possible
2: Start command invalid
changing the voltage supplied using keys possible
3: Start command valid
changing the voltage supplied using keys possible
When the START command is valid, the output voltage can be changed during
voltage supply using the command key.

5.
Press SHIFT + STOP keys to complete the setting value.
The instrument reverts to the READY state.
To continue to the setting for the next item, press the key.
When the interface command “START” is valid, the command to change the volt-
age during voltage supply is also valid.
