3.4 Displaying the Test Result
44
The test result is displayed on the screen. ”PASS” or “FAIL” screening is con-
ducted based on whether a measured-current value exceeds the upper- or
lower-limit test value within the set test-time.
If the output voltage fails to reach ±30 V of the test voltage within approximately
5 seconds after the START key is pressed (or after the ramp-up time has
elapsed, if the ramp-up time has been set), the instrument returns a UPPER/
LOWER FAIL result.
In the following cases, tests are terminated, and , , and
light up:
• The output voltage does not reach ±30 V of the set test-voltage.
• During the test, the output voltage deviates from test-voltage and does not
return to ±30 V of the set value within 5 seconds.

Even following a test, there may be a residual voltage at the output termi-
nal. Therefore, to prevent electric shock, check the following before touch-
ing the output-voltage terminal, test lead, or tested object, make sure that
no high voltage is being applied between the output terminals.
