When a test object that contains a capacity component is subjected to a test, the
object might remain electrically charged, thereby causing an electric shock.
Never touch the voltage output terminals, test lead, or the tested object
until the DANGER lamp has gone off and the output voltage indicator
shows 0.00V.
Tested object
• The instrument does not return to the READY state until the DANGER lamp
goes out upon completion of the test. Until the instrument returns to the
READY state, no key operation is accepted.
• With an optional setting, the instrument can change to the READY state,
regardless of the DANGER lamp indication, upon completion of the test.

In such a case, the voltage output terminals may contain residual electricity
even when the instrument is in the READY state.
