8.3 Guiding the load
Obey the following rules when guiding a load:
l
Use guide ropes.
l
Never go under a load or between a load and surrounding obstacles.
l
Always stand behind a load when it moves horizontally.
l
Make sure that the operator and all personnel:
l
can always see each other.
l
always have open channels of communication
l
Make sure that there is a clear escape route to safety.
8.4 Bridging device
The bridging device is a key switch. It is located in the
compartment for the remote control at the right of the
front of the compact crane.
The bridging device overrides all sensors.
Only use the bridging device:
l
if the compact crane has stopped because of a broken or damaged sensor.
l
To move the compact crane back to a safe situation from an unsafe situation.
Do not use this function to increase the outreach of the C30e Compact crane or to continue winching.
