8.12.1 Turn the winch down next to the boom
Turn the winch down next to the boom if you need to reduce the height of the C30e Compact crane.
1. Put the crane on the outriggers (see 7.5 Setting
the outriggers).
2. Turn the boom so that it is vertical.
3. Extend the ballast.

Use the ballast as a platform to stand on.
4. Remove the clip and the ring.
5. Remove the pin.
6. Turn the winch so that it is next to the boom.
