8. Operation
Sensors in the jib sense the pin.

The sensors stop the hydraulics the extension cylinder of the jib.
l
The pin stops the movement of the jib sections.
8.6.4 Removing the jib section interlock

1. Switch the bridging device ON (see 8.4 Bridging
device)
l
This overrides the sensors so that you can
move the jib.
2. Make sure that the interlock pin is loose.
l
Set the remote control to slow precise
movements(see 5.2 Buttons)
l
Slowly move the boom and feel if the pin is
loose at the same time.
l
Stop moving the boom when you feel that the pin is loose.
3. Push the inner button into the pin.
4. The steel balls at the other end retract.
5. Pull the pin out of section 1 (1).
6. Push the pin in its storage position (2).
7. Switch the bridging device OFF.
Caution
Do not forget to switch the bridging device OFF. Keeping the bridging device ON may lead to
dangerous situations.
8.7 Lifting the load with the boom
The crane lifts with maximum capacity when you lift with only the boom(see 13.1 Load chart - Counterweight).
