3. Remove the pin.
4. If necessary, put the rubber protection ring on the hook.

Push the rubber ring on the hook from the top.
5. Put the hook in the adapter.
6. Put the pin through the adapter and the hook
Caution
Make sure that the pin between the hook and the adapter is correctly installed.
Make sure that the steel balls are locked and cannot be pushed in.
Note
The rubber ring protects the load and the crane during lifting.
7.10.2 Angle adapter
Note
The angle adapter can only be installed on the jib. it does not go on the boom.
1. Push the lever on the top of the jib back.
l
Lock the lever by pushing it to the side.
2. Make sure that the locking pin is fully retracted.
3. Put the angle adapter fully against the jib
4. Push the angle adapter down. Make sure that:
l
the lugs on the side of the jib fully engage,
l
the locking pin is fully engaged in the opening of the angle adapter.
