2.10 Electrical
Do not:
l
lock a lever on the remote control,
l
drive the crane if it is connected to the power grid,
l
drive through water if the depth is more than 10 cm,
l
drive the compact crane on public roads.
Make sure that you have a good view of the surrounding area.
When you drive the crane on soft or sloping ground, keep the outriggers 10 cm above the ground to decrease
the risk of tipping over.
2.10 Electrical
Use a suitable connection to the mains supply. An unsuitable connection may cause a fuse to fail.
When the crane is connected to the mains supply, do not use the crane in:
l
the rain,
l
snow,
l
wet grass,
l
or on a wet floor with puddles.
Charge the battery at the end of each day to keep them balanced and in good condition:
l
Use an earthed mains supply for charging.
l
Put the main switch at the rear of the compact crane in position 0.
l
Do not push the emergency stop buttons.
Do not:
l
do any work on the electrical system,
l
remove or open the HV box,
l
open or disassemble the battery / batteries or charger.
