Install the winch head in one of the following

8.11 "Pick and Carry" mode
In "Pick and carry" mode you can:
l
lift a load without setting the outriggers.
l
move the crane while lifting a load.
Caution
The crane only knows that the outriggers are UP, it does not know their position.
Make sure that the ballast does not touch an outrigger leg when turning the superstructure.
Note
When the tracks are retracted the crane can only carry a load at the front .
You can only turn the superstructure while lifting a load if the two tracks are fully extended.
The maximum load in "Pick and carry" is smaller than during normal use, (see 13.2 Load chart - Pick and carry)
