7.6 Using the outrigger extensions
7. Lower the outriggers with the levers of the remote control until each outrigger is horizontal (see 5.3
Levers).
8. Fully extend each outrigger. The white stripe must be visible.

Push button A or B and use lever D, E, F or G to extend an outrigger.
9. Lower each outrigger until it is immediately above the ground. Monitor the outrigger.

Only use the lever to lower an outrigger.
10. Fully lower the outriggers onto the ground.
11. Operate the two outriggers at the front until the front of the crane is immediately above the ground.
12. Operate the two outriggers at the rear until the rear of the crane is immediately above the ground.
13. Operate the outriggers independently to make the crane level.
14. Do not lift the crane higher on the outriggers than necessary; it is sufficient when the crawler tracks do
not touch the ground.
Note
Look at the spirit level on the crane. The bubble must be in the middle of the circle.
There is a spirit level on each side of the chassis.
15. Make sure that all the outriggers fully rest on the ground after they have been set.
Caution
Make sure that the ballast does not touch an outrigger when you turn the superstructure.
7.6 Using the outrigger extensions
1. Remove the clip and the locking pin.
2. Pull the extension out to the end stop.
