4.1.2 Counterweight
The counterweight:

gives balance and stability to the compact crane during lifting.
l
is hydraulically extended,
l
can be removed without any additional lifting facilities.
4.1.3 Outriggers
The C30e Compact crane has outriggers to offset the load weight and to increase stability when the crane is in
use. The outriggers are heavy beams that extend from the chassis and use a flat pad to evenly distribute the
crane’s load. A flat surface is necessary for the outriggers to function properly.
Use the remote control to hydraulically extend and retract each outrigger. The outriggers can be turned to any
position.
