2.13 Rated Capacity Limiter (RCL)
The RCL protects the compact crane from overloading.
When the crane is raised on the outriggers and the superstructure is active, the compact crane knows how the
weight is applied on the outriggers. The compact crane knows how much weight it can lift in any situation.
The compact crane also knows how much weight it can lift in any situation when it is in "Pick and Carry" mode
(see 8.11 "Pick and Carry" mode).
If the compact crane enters the range in which it is no longer allowed to lift the load, it will automatically stop
increasing the outreach. The red lamp in the stack light comes ON and the acoustic signal operates.
At this time the compact crane can only move the load so that it goes back into the safe range. The outreach is
reduced.
