9.9.3 Tighten a crawler track
A
1. Make sure that the jib and boom are in the
transport position.
2. Put the outrigger legs in the correct position.

Each leg at 48°
3. Lift the crane on the outriggers until the crawler
tracks are 10 cm above the ground.
4. Attach a grease gun on the grease nipple (A) in
the track frame.
5. Pump grease into the tension cylinder until the track tension is correct (see 9.9.1 Inspect the tension).
