7.9 The jib
7.9.2 Removing the Jib
1. Move the jib into its transport position.
2. Fully extend the boom.
3. Pull the release on the boom to the back (a).
4. Push the release to the side to lock it (b).
5. Adjust the crane with the outriggers so that the jib
is put on the ground.
6. Adjust the connector plate of the jib so that the
boom can move out of the plate.
Note
Put the jib on the two supports.
7. Slowly move the boom DOWN.

Make sure that the jib doesn't fall.
l
Make sure that the hoses or the cable don't catch.
8. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and the power plug.
9. Move the hydraulic hoses and the power cable to a safe position.
