7. Installation
Note
The slope is at the front.
1. Start the crane (see 7.2.1 Starting the crane).
2. Connect to the remote control (see 5.5 Connect with the crane)
3. Make sure that:
l
the crane is folded in,
l
the counterweight is retracted,
l
the outriggers are UP.
l
the tracks are fully extended.
4. Select "Undercarriage control" (see 5.2.5 Undercarriage / Superstructure toggle button).

5. Operate levers A and B on the remote control simultaneously forwards or backwards to move in a
straight line.
6. Operate one of the two levers to change direction.
7. Release the levers to stop the crane.

The levers return to the center position automatically.
7.4.2 Maximum slope angles when moving the crane
Direction of movement Maximum slope angle
Forwards 15°
Backwards 23°
Sideways – crawler tracks retracted 15°
Sideways – crawler tracks extended 23°
Note
When moving the compact crane on a slope (e.g. up loading ramps onto a transport vehicle),
extend the outriggers on the LOW side to stop the crane from tilting (see 7.3 Setting the width
of the crawler track).
