8.6 Boom and jib section interlock
8.6.2 Removing the boom section interlock

1. Fully retract the boom.
2. Make sure that the interlock pin is loose.

Set the remote control to slow precise
movements (see 5.2 Buttons)

Slowly move the boom and feel if the pin is
loose at the same time.
l
Stop moving the boom when you feel that the
pin is loose.
3. Remove the clip (1).
4. Pull the pin out of the hole at section 3 (2).
5. Slowly move the boom so that the holes at (3) align.
6. Push the pin in the hole in section 2 (3) and lock it with the clip.

1. Align the holes in section 1 (2).

Set the remote control to slow precise
movements(see 5.2 Buttons)
l
Slowly move the jib so that the holes at (2)
align.
2. Push the inner button into the pin.
3. The steel balls at the other end retract.
4. Pull the pin out of its storage position (1).
5. Push the pin in the hole in section 1 (2).
