Note:
The
pedestal drive test cable (180-0320) is used to
isolate pedestal problems from driver problems.

Do not run the TZ motors for more than 30 seconds continuously. These pedestal motors are
rated at a 10% duty cycle. Exceeding the rating causes an overheat condition and shuts down the
motor. After shut down, the motors must cool for at least 5 minutes before running.
CAUTION:
Running any motor subsystem to its limit (in either direction) does not damage the
motor. However, if the motor encoder is not properly calibrated it may be damaged.
