Remove the Tank Assembly (leave Filter Drum Assembly attached). See the

Remove

and Replace Procedures

section, of this manual, for detailed removal information.

Disconnect the cables and Nylatrac mounting hardware, and tape Nylatrac and cables in

the bottom of the scanner so that they are secure.

Disconnect the ribbon cable from the Arm R Motor Controller board.

Remove the Arm Y bearing blocks at the rear of the arm.

Remove the bracket that connects the C-arm to the Arm Y belt.

Lift the C-arm carriage up and out of the scanner unit.

Tape, or tie wrap, the bearing blocks to prevent them from sliding off the end of the rail.
