Setting the Slow AE Response
1. Select 5 Camera Options 2 Exposure Control 4 Slow
AE Response.
2. Set the adjustment range, from the normal 1 time (default, to
254 times.
This feature can be used to slow down the
Auto Exposure (AE) response speed
when the camera reacts to momentary
abrupt changes in brightness in the video
scene.
Example: By using this function, the
camera minimizes exposure changes to
momentary bright lights in the image. In
addition, under normal brightness
variations, the exposure settles at the
target level to reduce exposure overshoot
or undershoot.
HDXG cameras only.
Setting Advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
1. Select 5 Camera Options 2 Exposure Control 7
Advanced WDR.
2. Select 7 Advanced WDR.
HDX cameras only.
When you set the Advanced WDR to ON,
and the camera detects a dark part in the
scene, the image is automatically
lightened. V3.2 extends the dynamic
range 10 dB more than in previous
versions.
Note When Advanced WDR is set to
ON, Wide Dynamic Range is OFF,
and vice versa.
Configuring Field Noise Reduction
1. Select 5 Camera Options 2 Exposure Control 9 Field
Noise Reduction.
2. Set 1 FNR Mode to Auto to display the following screen.
HDXG cameras only.
The Field Noise Reduction (FNR) feature
allows you to decrease the noise by the
field correlation. There are two modes:
Auto and Manual.
Option 2 Auto FNR allows you to select
one of the following options: Slight,
Weak, Medium, or Strong.
