Configuring HTTPS
With these settings, you can ensure that the PC successfully logs in through HTTPS to
guarantee communication data security. This reliable and stable technology can secure user
information and device safety.

If you have changed the device’s IP, then you’
ll need to implement the server
Note
If this is your first time to use HTTPS on your PC, then you’ll need to download
the root certificate.
Import Certificate
Perform the following steps to import the CA certificate and the Key certificate together:
1.
Click Browse to select the CA certificate.
2.
Click Browse to select the Key certificate.
3.
Click Import to import the two certificates.
Note
Use Firefox to import the certificate.
HTTPS Configuration Overview
1.
Go to SETUP ïƒ NETWORK ïƒ PORT ïƒ HTTPS.
2.
Create a Server Certificate if this is the first time you are using this function. See Creating
a Server Certificate on page 174.
OR
Download an already established root certificate. See Downloading a Root Certificate on
page 174.
3.
View and set the HTTPS port. See Viewing and Setting the HTTPS Port on page 177.
