1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
ntdp timer hop-delay hop-delay-time
The hop delay in forwarding NTDP packets is set.
3. Run:
ntdp timer port-delay port-delay-time
The interface delay in forwarding NTDP packets is set.
By default, the hop delay is 200 ms and the interface delay is 20 ms.
l (Optional) Setting the interval for collecting topology information
1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
ntdp timer interval
The interval for collecting topology information is set.
By default, the interval for collecting topology information is set to 0 minutes, that is,
topology information is not collected regularly.
l (Optional) Enabling topology collection
1. Run the following command in the user view:
ntdp explore
Topology collection is enabled.
You can run this command to collect topology information at any time.

3.3.4 Creating a Cluster
To perform unified management over switches, you must first create a cluster and add switches
to be managed to the cluster.
Procedure
l Configuring a management VLAN
Do as follows on the administrator switch and member switches:
1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
vlan vlan-id
A VLAN is created and the VLAN view is displayed.
