Shielding
To achieve a stable reading, shield resistances greater than 100kΩ. Place the resistance in a
shielded enclosure and connect the shield to the INPUT LO terminal of the instrument
electrically.
See Section 3 for information on the configuration options for two-wire and four-wire
resistance measurements.
Low resistance measurements
The Model 2010 can be used for low resistance measurements normally handled by a micro-
ohmmeter. The following paragraphs discuss the Model 2010’s dry circuit testing and offset
compensation modes.
