3.2.1Wiring connection mode

In order to ensure the stable and safe use of the product, the following matters should be paid attention to when making the
driver wiring connection:
During the assembly process, pay attention to the fixing of the cable. Do not apply stress to the connector, otherwise the
connector may be damaged.
Motor power line and encoder line, please use the manufacturer's matching cable, calculate the equipment connection
distance, as far as possible to choose a shorter cable.
The bending radius of the cable should be more than 5-10 times the diameter of the line, to prevent the core of the cable
from breaking after long-term use, the cable should avoid bearing tension during use, and some towing chain occasions should
also consider using flexible cables.
Usually according to the driver output current in accordance with 8A/mm² wiring, power cable longer than 30 meters need to
increase the wire diameter.
The power cable and signal cable should be kept at a distance of more than 30cm. Avoid parallel laying as much as
possible. Do not lay the power cable and signal cable in the same slot or bundle together.
3.2.2 EMC configuration of the driver
The FD5P servo drive meets the relevant EMC certification specifications under the set conditions,
but during the use of the product, it may be affected by the actual installation method, connection
head and wiring status, resulting in different EMC test levels.
Warning
In the civil environment, this product may cause interference which may
degrade the reception quality of radio signals. Users shall take suppression
measures if necessary to prevent interference.
Products must be installed and certified by professionals who are familiar with
safety and EMC requirements, and EMC engineers are responsible for ensuring
that the products and systems produced comply with relevant laws.
Site conditions
FD5P servo drivers must be installed in power grid overvoltage Class III and pollution Class 2 use
sites.
