After fitting the boot on the case side joint,
insert a screw driver into the boot on the
case side joint and allow air to enter the
boot so that the air pressure in the boot
becomes the same as the atmospheric
pressure.
Fix the boot on the case side joint with a
new boot band, taking care not distort the
boot.
The dust boots should be fastened with
the boot bands at the grooves in the drive
shaft.
