After reassembling the universal joint,
check the joint movement smoothly. If a
large resistance is felt to movement, tap the
bearing with a plastic mallet lightly.
Fix the boot and spring ring, taking care not
distort the boot.

The dust boot should be fastened with
the spring ring at the groove in the
propeller shaft.
