REAR BRAKE PADS (ON ROAD)
Rear brake
Remove the rear wheel. (
refer to the
“
REAR WHEEL
REMOVAL/INSPECTION/
INSTALLATION
” section in the chapter
15
).
The replacement of rear brake and front
brake pads are the same.
Rear brake (combined)
Remove the rear wheel. (
refer to the
“
REAR WHEEL
REMOVAL/INSPECTION/
INSTALLATION
” section in the chapter
15
).
Remove the two brake pad pins from the
brake caliper.
Remove the two mounting bolts from brake
caliper and then remove brake caliper.
Ɣ Do not operate the brake lever during
or after brake pad removal.
Ɣ Replace the brake pads as a set,
otherwise braking performance will be
adversely affected.
