Pre-load tapered roller bearing with about 50 000 N (5 t) and de-
termine axial gap with the dial indicator
In case of deviations from the required axial
gap, correct with suitable shim
(Item 4/Figure 335)!

Heat up bearing inner race and position it until contact is obtained.
Use protective gloves!
Introduce spur gear until all inner plates are accommodated.
Introduce determined shim ( Figure 335 ... 339) and ring 3.
