CX2731 MFP Basic User’s Guide
Direct Input
You can enter a destination directly using the on-screen keyboard.
1 Press the down arrow key repetitively to scroll to [Direct Input],
then press <OK>.
2 Enter a destination e-mail address containing up to 80 single-
byte characters.
3 Select [Done], then press <OK>.

Using LDAP Search
You can search for a destination from the list on the LDAP server.
1 Press the down arrow key repetitively to scroll to [LDAP], then
press the right arrow key.
2 Press the down arrow key repetitively to scroll to [Simple Search]
or [Advanced Search], then press <OK>.
Note
When you select [Simple Search], you can search only for a user
name.
When you select [Advanced Search], you can search for a user
name or e-mail address. You can also select search conditions to
retrieve only results that contain all the specified keywords.
3 Enter a keyword to search for a user name or e-mail address on
the LDAP server.
4 Select [Done], then press <OK> to start searching.
5 Press the down arrow key repetitively to scroll to a destination
from the search results, then press <OK>.
