15 Close the top cover and scanner unit.
Replacing the Fuser Unit

When the [Fuser Unit Near Life] message appears, make sure you
have a replacement fuser unit on hand.
WARNING!
If the machine has recently been turned on, some fuser
components will be very hot. handle the fuser unit with
extreme care, holding it only by its handle, which will only
be mildly warm to the touch. A warning label clearly
indicates the area.
