The Document Glass___________
The document glass is used to scan in one page at a time. Use it for
scanning sheets which are damaged or problematic, such as
• Torn or perforated paper
• Curled, rolled, wrinkled or creased paper
• Wet paper, or static paper
• Carbon-backed paper, fabrics, metallic sheets or transparencies
• Paper with staples, paper clips, ribbons, or tape
• Glossy or specially coated paper
CAUTION!
To avoid damaging the document glass:
• Make sure that any glue, ink, or correction fluid on
documents is completely dry before placing them on
the glass.
• Do not press too firmly against the glass when
copying a thick document.
• Place hard documents gently.
• Avoid loading documents with sharp projections.
