Note
When the <SETTING> key > [Admin Setup] > [Management] >
[System Setup] > [Status in Near Life] is set to [Disable], the
[Image Drum Unit Near Life] message does not appear.
When [Please Install New Image Drum Unit] appears, replace the
image drum unit.
Life expectancy of the image drum unit for A4 simplex printing,
according to ISO/IEC 19798:
Note
The actual life of the image drum can differ depending on the
usage.
Replacing the Image Drum Unit
1 Unpack the new image drum unit.
Printing mode Life expectancy
Continuous 30,000 pages
Three pages per job 20,000 pages
WARNING!
• If you inhale any toner or get it in your eyes, drink a
little water or bathe your eyes liberally in cold water.
Seek medical attention immediately.
• If the machine has been turned on, the fuser unit may
be hot. This area is clearly labelled. DO NOT TOUCH.
