Servicing the DIMMs (CRU)
The Oracle Server X6-2 supports a variety of DDR4 DIMM configurations that can include
quad-rank (QR) and dual-rank (DR) DDR4 DIMMs.
Caution - These procedures require that you handle components that are sensitive to
electrostatic discharge. This sensitivity can cause the components to fail. To avoid
damage, ensure that you follow antistatic practices as described in “Take Antistatic
Measures” on page 59.
Caution - Ensure that all power is removed from the server before removing or installing DDR4
DIMMs, or damage to the DDR4 DIMMs might occur. You must disconnect all power cables
from the system before performing these procedures.
