Remove the Fan Tray
This procedure should be performed only when servicing the following field-replaceable units
(FRUs):
■
Disk backplane
■
SAS cables
■
NVMe cables
■
Temperature sensor
■
Motherboard assembly
1.
Using a Torx T25 screwdriver, loosen the three spring-mounted screws that
secure the fan tray to the server chassis [1].
2.
Lift the fan tray from the server [2].
