EXHAUST REMOVAL
1. Pull the cargo box handle and lift out of the way.
2. Remove the fasteners holding the headpipe
assembly to the engine.
3. Disconnect the oxygen sensor from the wiring
harness.
4. If necessary, remove the fasteners holding the
headpipe to silencer.
5. Remove the spring holding the silencer to the vehicle.
6. Remove the exhaust assembly out the RH side of the
vehicle.
EXHAUST INSTALLATION
1. Install the exhaust assembly in the RH side of the
vehicle.
2. Install the fasteners holding the headpipe assembly
to the engine. Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Exhaust Headpipe Fasteners:
18 lb-ft (24 Nm)
3. Connect the oxygen sensor to the wiring harness.
4. If necessary, install the fasteners holding the
headpipe to silencer. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Exhaust Headpipe to Silencer Fasteners:
21 lb-ft (28 Nm)
