SHOCK COMPRESSION ADJUSTMENT
The compression damping adjustment is located on the
shock ‘Piggyback’ reservoir of each shock. Damping
adjustments can be made without using any tools.
Turn the adjuster knob clockwise to increase
compression damping. Turn the adjuster knob counter-
clockwise to decrease compression damping.
FACTORY COMPRESSION SETTINGS
GENERAL XP
Front Shock 8 clicks from full hard
Rear Shock 8 clicks from full hard
GENERAL XP 4
Front Shock 8 clicks from full hard
Rear Shock 11 clicks from full hard
SHOCK INSTALLATION
1. With the vehicle raised and control arm supported,
install the shock into the mounting position.
2. Install shock mounting fasteners and torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Shock Mount Fasteners:
Front: 51 lb-ft (70 Nm)
Rear: 51 lb-ft (70 Nm)
3. Remove the control arm support and lower the
vehicle.
