Section 7. Factory Resets
To reset the printer to the factory settings, perform the following steps.
CAUTION: Resetting the printer will clear the registers.
STEP PROCEDURE
1. Refer to illustrations on page 7-1. Record all current dip switch positions,
then place all switches in the OFF position.
2. Place the DSW2-4 in the ON position.
3. Press the LINE and FEED keys simultaneously while turning on the power.
Release the keys when the printer beeps. The following screen will appear.
4. Place the DSW2-4 in the OFF position and the following screen will appear.
5. Press the key to display the next screen.
6. Press the ENTER key to display the next screen.
7. Press the ENTER.
8. Use the keys to select YES (Clear ) or NO (Do not Clear).
9. If YES is selected press the ENTER key to clear the EEPROM.
10. Power OFF the printer and confirm the swiches are in the OFF position.
