Troubleshooting
Display Meaning / possible causes Troubleshooting
eLevel Current damping value is below the warning
threshold. The warning threshold depends
on the distance between measuring device
andreector.→ For recommended damping
values, see page 32, Table 4.
• Clean external lens surfaces like the
reectorandthelens.
• Decrease the distance between the
measuringdeviceandthereector.
• Use a distance measuring device with a
higher range.

eTemp The internal device temperature is outside of
the permissible range.
→ For the permissible ambient temperature,
see page 128, chapter 14.9.
• Check ambience temperature, improve
ventilation if applicable.
• Shield against radiation heat, e.g. shade
the measuring device in case of direct
solar irradiation.
• Use device with heating at low ambient
temperatures.
• Use cooling housings for high ambient
temperatures.
