Stop responses
Faults with Safety Integrated Extended Functions and violation of limits can trigger the
following stop response:
Table 8- 11 Stop response overview
Stop
response
Triggered ... Action Effect
STOP A For all acknowledgeable safety
faults with pulse suppression.
As a follow-up reaction of STOP F.
Immediate pulse suppression Drive coasts down
STOP B Examples:
- Standstill tolerance violated in
p9330/p9530 (SOS).
- Configured subsequent stop
p9363/p9563 for SLS/SDI.
- When the SS2 function is active
STOP F results in
follow-up stop B.
Immediate input of speed
setpoint = 0 and start of timer
t
B
STOP A is triggered on
expiration of t
B
or if
n
act
< n
shutdown
.
The drive brakes down along the
OFF3 ramp and then goes into STOP
A state
STOP C Configured subsequent stop
p9363/p9563 with SLS/SDI.
When SLS is selected, the drive is
decelerated with STOP C.
Immediate input of speed
setpoint = 0 and start of timer
t
C
SOS is activated on expiration
of t
C
.
The drive brakes down along the
OFF3 ramp, SOS is then activated
STOP D Configured subsequent stop
p9363/p9563 with SLS/SDI.
Timer t
D
starts
No drive-integrated response
SOS is activated on expiration
of t
D
.
The drive must be decelerated by the
higher-level control (within the drive
group)!
SOS is activated on expiration of the
time t
D
.
An automatic response is only
triggered if the standstill tolerance
window is violated in SOS.
STOP E - Configured subsequent stop
p9563/p9363 for SLS
- Configured subsequent stop
p9566/p9366 for SDI
SOS triggered after the
expiration of p9554/p9354
Controlling the drive-integrated ESR
functionality
STOP F If a fault occurs in the crosswise
data comparison.
Follow-up response STOP B.
Timer t
F1
(Basic Functions) or
t
F2
(Extended Functions)
No drive response
If a safety function (SOS, SLS) has
been selected or if SSM with
hysteresis has been enabled,
transition to STOP A after t
F1
(Basic
Functions) has elapsed or STOP B
after t
F2
(Extended Functions) has
elapsed.
