8.6 Commissioning using a drive wizard
Introduction
Drive configuration is done with a drive wizard on the HIM. The following drive components
are to be configured:
• Active Line Modules (infeed)
• Motor module, motor and encoders (drives)
Drive configuration
The drive configuration can be opened by selecting "Commissioning > Drive systems" in the
menu.

1. Press the corresponding softkey for the drive component to be configured.
– "Infeed" for ALM
– "Drives" for SERVO
2. Configuration is performed in the following sequence:
– You select the component with the vertical softkey "Infeed+/Infeed-" or "Drive+/Drive-"
– Press the vertical softkey "Change" and follow the drive wizard with the horizontal
softkey "Next >".
– Parameterize the appropriate configuration in the dialog box that appears.
The following chapters "Parameterization of infeed" and "Parameterization of drive
components" list the dialog in detail.
