In this case, the missing magnet is the large tank’s float sensor because that
position is displaying a value that is out of range. The technician should replace the
large tank’s float sensor and verify that the readings are correct. In the event that more
than one magnet has failed, the technician would find the first position that is out of
range and replace it before proceeding. The procedure beginning on page 6-42 outlines
the steps necessary to enter the technician menu and determine which magnet is
malfunctioning.
