9. Enter a file name for the calibration data acquired.
Tip: The file name is used as the calibration file name.
10. Specify the scan time and an interscan time or use the wizard defaults.
11. Specify the intensity threshold or use the wizard default.
12. Specify the reference window or use the wizard default.
13. Click Next.
The Calibration Wizard Acquiring Data window appears.
Reference Window Is the size of the window in Da used to search
for the peak in the reference file for initial peak
matching.
Auto Polynomial When selected, the order the wizard attempts to
select the polynomial order that fits the data
best. Polynomial order of 2 or 1 is normally used
for good extrapolation to high mass.
Polynomial Order Is the order of the curve equation it uses to fit to
the data
