Controlling the DI probe temperature 7-13
When the Use Base Peak or Use TIC control option is selected, the base peak
or TIC is monitored as the probe temperature ramp is applied. If it achieves
the Hold Threshold value, the probe temperature is held at its current value
until one of the following conditions applies:
• The base peak/TIC drops to the On Threshold value, in which case the
probe temperature ramp resumes.
• The base peak/TIC rises to the Abort Threshold value, in which case the
probe heating is turned off until the base peak/TIC value drops below
the On Threshold value.
The ramp is defined in the Ramp tab of the Probe Ramp dialog box.
