Ion repeller inactive in EI mode:
Possible cause Corrective action
Poor contact to the ion repeller from
the spring contacts on the outer
source.
Use tweezers to adjust the spring
contacts on the outer source to
improve contact.
Tunes with repeller more than 5 V:
Possible cause Corrective action
Dirty inner source. Clean the inner source.

Dirty inner source. Clean the inner source.
