Error messages
Motor starting fault
This message implies that the internal zero-compensation could not be performed. Switch
off the labeler at the mains switch and wait until the display has gone off. Thereafter,
switch the labeler back on.
Motor rotor position not found
This message indicates that the servomotor cannot determine its rotor position during the
initialization phase. Switch off the labeler at the mains switch and wait until the display has
gone off. Thereafter, switch the labeler back on.
Motor position control
This message indicates that the servomotor cannot determine its prescribed position.
Please contact our service hotline (see page9).
Motor end stage overcurrent
This message implies that the motor overload is too high, e.g. due to a short-circuit or ex-
ternal interference. Please contact our service hotline (see page9).
Sensor Label position not found
This message implies that the label sensor does not detect the label stock. The existing
labels between the label sensor and dispenser are dispensed completely. Thereafter, the
system is switched to "Fault" (compare section above).
Possible causes: The label sensor is deadjusted or dirty or there are no labels on the liner.
If the labeler should only complete the just dispensed label application before it stops after
an error detection, the setting of the machine parameter [009] must be changed (see ser-
vice instructions for details).
Web break
This message means that the optional web break sensor detects that no label material is
present. The currently applied label is still applied. Thereafter, the labeler interrupts the
labeling cycle. Possible causes: Web break or end of web.
Web end reached
This message implies that the low label warning has been triggered and the pre-
programmed residual label roll length (under machine parameter [025]) has lapsed. When
the value for the remaining label length is set to "0" m (default value), a warning will be
output but no "Error" triggered.
Motor overcurrent #2
This message implies that the strain on the motor controller by the maximum current is too
high. Potential causes: Too high cycle rate, paper brake to tight, material wrapped around
the drive unit. Solution: Switch off the labeler, repair fault, switch on the labeler.
