Manual feed
The "Manual advance" menu can be reached from the status menu by turning the adjust-
ment button.
Here you have the possibility to dispense a label manually. This is also possible in the la-
beler's stop mode.
Press the adjustment button for a long time (>3 seconds) to exit the menu.
For information about the navigation with or working with selection and input fields, see
from page 71 onwards. Information on password input is provided on page 73.
The advance speed shown corresponds to the la-
bel speed set (see Page 80).
When connecting a rotary encoder (see page 45),
it corresponds to the transmitted product speed.
Prerequisites
Label liner is inserted.
No product handling.
The labeler is switched on and ready for labeling.
Instruction
How to trigger a manual dispensing process.
During the manual dispensing process, the labeler advances a label at
product speed, which has to be removed manually. Stuck-together labels
may cause system faults.
Entanglement hazard! Keep away from powered rollers moving system
parts.
Navigate to the "Manual advance" menu page.
Start the dispensing process by pressing the [Start] button.
Pressing the start button for a long time (>2 seconds) in stop mode
advances the label liner continuously with "Service speed" [Setting in
Parameter 040) (e.g. to thread the label liner.
