Instruction
This is how to transport the labeler to its utilisation site
Step
Approach
Transport the labeler to its utilisation site (within a vicinity of 3 m). The accu-
rate positioning will be carried out during the course of the installation by
Bluhm Weber Group technicians.
Risk of injury! Transport straps are under tension and can whip back in an
uncontrolled manner when they are cut, thus causing serious injuries.
Remove the foil packaging and possibly transport strapping (if present).
Open the carton or box and remove the filling material and accessories.
Do not lift the labeler on the rewinder and unwinder axles, and not on the
dancer arms or on the guide rollers.
Lift the labeler out of the packaging either with a suitable lifting device or with
at least two people. Place it on to a stable surface with the rear side facing
down
Before commissioning the system,, remove all transport restraints (marked
red tie wraps).
Storage conditions
The environmental conditions required for the storage of the labeler correspond to those
for the normal operation. For details see the Chapter "Technical Specifications".
Instruction
How to securely store the labeler.
Approach
Remove the label stock from the system.
Secure the labeler onto pallet(s) and transport the system to its storage posi-
tion. For the securing and transporting, observe the safety instructions stat-
ed in the " REF _Ref230489325 \h \* MERGEFORMAT Transport and Un-
packing" section above.
To protect against dust, cover the labeler with a cotton or paper towel. No
foils may be used in order to avoid any condensation.
Air-condition the storage location as specified in chapter "Technical Specifi-
cations".
The system must be tested before recommissioning the labeler.
